  1. Who we are

This website (amongtigers.com) and the Among Tigers brand are operated by Samera Growth Advisors Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 06917384), registered office 136 High Street, Esher, KT10 9QJ. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at info@samera.co.uk.

  2. The information we collect

    • Information you give us, such as your name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.
    • Information collected automatically, such as your device, browser, IP address and how you use the site, gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Notice).
  3. How we use it, and our lawful basis

    • To send you the Among Tigers newsletter and related updates, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
    • To respond to your enquiries, on the basis of our legitimate interests in dealing with messages sent to us.
    • To operate, secure and improve the website, on the basis of our legitimate interests in running the site properly.
  4. Marketing and how to unsubscribe

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You can also email us at info@samera.co.uk to be removed.

  5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:

    • Beehiiv, our email newsletter platform.
    • Netlify and Google Analytics, our website hosting and analytics providers.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

  6. How long we keep it

We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your message and a reasonable period afterwards. We then delete or anonymise it.

  7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@samera.co.uk.

  8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

  9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its update date.
